Kiwi, with its vibrant green flesh, is not only a delicious fruit but also a powerhouse of nutrients for your skin. To make this refreshing kiwi facial scrub, simply mash up a ripe kiwi and mix it with a tablespoon of cane sugar. The cane sugar acts as a gentle exfoliant, sloughing away dead skin cells and revealing a smooth and radiant complexion.
To add a touch of hydration, add a few drops of sweet almond oil to the mix. Massage this luscious concoction onto your face in circular motions, and then rinse off with warm water. Your skin will thank you for this sweet treat!
Amongst all of the tropical fruits, kiwi is one that can help you keep your skin young and healthy. You may do this either by eating it or by putting it on your face. Isn’t that fabulous? That’s why I just had to share this DIY kiwi facial scrub with you all. I love kiwi, and my kids are absolutely crazy for it. If kiwi isn’t something you have on hand regularly, here are some reasons to try it:
Kiwi Helps to Rejuvenate Skin:
It is a fruit that contains vitamins A, C and E. These vitamins are part of the antioxidants that are used in most cosmetic products. Vitamins A, C and E fight free radicals and maintain the beauty and elasticity of the skin. In addition, they help regenerate the collagen and maintain a firm foundation.
It Helps to Reduce the Signs of Aging:
Regular consumption of kiwi can delay the signs of aging skin, wrinkles. It also successfully contributes to removing stains caused by the sun.
Kiwi Can Aid in Detoxification:
Along with being loaded with antioxidants, kiwi fruit is a rich source of dietary fiber, which helps eliminate toxins from the colon and thus detoxify the body. Your skin will look visibly healthier.
Kiwi Helps to Speed Healing:
Being a fruit that is rich in vitamin C, regular consumption of kiwi fights inflammation and promotes collagen production. This way, cuts or other wounds will heal much faster. Furthermore, kiwi contains omega-3 fatty acids, compounds which prevent the development of skin diseases.
It Helps to Fight Acne:
Kiwi fruit pulp contains acids with anti-inflammatory properties that fight bacteria.
And besides all of the wonderful reasons I’ve given above…
regular consumption of kiwi fruit lowers the risk of respiratory disease, heart disease, colon cancer; lowers cholesterol levels.
