For as long as I can recall, I have been on a mission to learn more about my Indigenous history, and my ancestors. I am a Metis woman of Cree and Ojibwe descent, and I was raised in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Growing up here, I became very acquainted with – and inspired by – Inuit culture and art work.
There are a number of Indigenous artists that have recently unleashed some of their art work to the public as coloring pages. You can download these and print them for your coloring pleasure! Please also see my post on the benefits of adult coloring books. In this post, I am sharing with the some coloring pages from Nasugraq Rainey Hopson. If you would like to check out more of her art, please visit her page here.
I am also sharing a video at the end of this post entitled “Spirit Parade”, which is a beautiful short clip created by Rosie Cook and lends credit to Nasugraq Rainey Hopson. My kids love it. Enjoy!
